Johanne Boivin

Head Coach | Sport Study Program Coach
Johanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics from Université Laval. She began her career as an economist in 2001 in Quebec’s parapublic and federal sectors before returning to diving in 2010 as Head Coach of the Gatineau Diving Club. In 2012, she joined the Rouge et Or Diving Club (now ARO), where she helped develop young athletes until 2017. After serving as Technical Coordinator at Plongeon Québec, she returned in 2020 as Head Coach of the ARO Diving Club in Quebec City. Johanne is certified Level III in the National Coaching Certification Program and also contributes provincially as a coach developer and evaluator, supporting the growth and education of coaches across the province.
Olivier Duchesneau

Olivier Duchesneau has been coaching at the ARO Diving Club since September 2014. He discovered diving in Montreal at the age of seven, a passion that continues to inspire his work today. A graduate of Université Laval in Sport Intervention (2017), Olivier follows a structured coaching approach focused on long-term athlete development. His goal is to guide each athlete toward reaching their full potential while maintaining a safe, supportive, and stimulating training environment. He places strong importance on technical progression, consistency in training, and the development of confidence and independence in his athletes. Through his coaching, he strives to help divers build strong foundations that will support their growth both in sport and as individuals.

Andréanne Lafleur Caouette

Competitive Program Coach | Recreational Program Coordinator
Andréanne Lafleur Caouette has been coaching at the ARO Diving Club since 2011 and has been involved in the world of diving since the age of ten. Certified in the Competition-Introduction stream of the National Coaching Certification Program, she works mainly with athletes aged 5 to 10 in the Espoir and Regional categories. Andréanne focuses on helping young divers develop confidence, coordination, and a strong foundation in the sport. Through a positive and supportive environment, she encourages athletes to build perseverance, curiosity, and a passion for learning while taking on new challenges and enjoying their experience in diving.
Bruno Fournier

Bruno Fournier

Competitive and Adult Program Coach
Bruno has been coaching diving at the Club de plongeon ARO since retiring from the business world in 2022. Passionate about the sport since childhood, he began diving in Quebec City at the age of six and quickly progressed through the ranks. At eleven, he participated in his first national competitions and later represented Canada at numerous international events, including the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992. In addition to coaching, Bruno has served as President of Plongeon Québec since 2023 and regularly acts as a judge at national and international competitions. Through his experience as both an athlete and a leader in the sport, he brings valuable knowledge and perspective to the club while supporting athletes in their continued development and enjoyment of diving.
